Ashvin Kamath, MD was born in Colorado and was raised in Southern California. Dr. Kamath is a graduate of Princeton University and the U.C. San Diego School of Medicine. He completed Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at the UCLA-Olive View Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Kamath resides in Atlanta with his wife, and he joined the Georgia Kidney Associates in 2017.

Dr. Kamath is based at our Austell office.  He rounds at WellStar Kennestone, Paulding & Cobb hospitals, and the Fresenius South Cobb and Douglasville dialysis units.
